Standing With Survivors

We would like to acknowledge those individuals and companies who are contributing to the work of the Survivors’ Secretariat. With kindness being one of the Haudenosaunee legal principles, it is important to thank those who have made it part of their nature to bring communities together through working partnerships.

We are grateful to have received Responsive Grant Funding from the Law Foundation of Ontario, which enabled the Survivors’ Secretariat to create and hire a dedicated Justice (System) Navigator role. This critical position has been instrumental in supporting survivors through our ongoing collaboration with Multi-Jurisdictional Police Task Force (MJPTF) and the Coroners’ Office. The Justice (System) Navigator has played a vital role in guiding survivors through complex legal processes, ensuring they receive the support and advocacy they deserve. This funding has made a significant impact on our ability to serve and empower survivors in their pursuit of justice.
